Accessibility Statement
Effective date: 2026-07-01
Our commitment
People often arrive at this website during a stressful time, and everyone should be able to use it regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology. We are committed to making charge-back.com accessible, and our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-off task. We review it as part of design and development work, and this statement will be updated as the site evolves.
Measures we have taken
The following measures are built into the site:
- Semantic HTML: pages use meaningful landmarks, headings, and list structures so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order.
- Visible focus: a clear focus indicator shows keyboard users where they are on the page at all times.
- Contrast-checked palette: text and interface colours are checked against WCAG contrast requirements in both light and dark themes.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are minimised or removed for visitors whose system settings request reduced motion.
- Accessible forms: every form field has a programmatically associated label, and error messages are linked to the fields they describe so assistive technology announces them.
- Skip link: a skip-to-content link lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass repeated navigation.
Known limitations
This statement is based on internal testing. A full third-party accessibility audit has not yet been completed, and until it is, we cannot claim verified conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA. Issues the audit identifies will be prioritised and fixed, and this statement will be updated to reflect the results.
If you find a part of the site that does not work for you, we would genuinely like to know about it — see the feedback section below.
Feedback and contact
If you experience any barrier using this website, or need information from it in a different format, please email support@charge-back.com. It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, but none of that is required.
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within ten working days. Where a barrier prevents you from completing something important, tell us and we will offer a reasonable alternative way to do it while the underlying issue is fixed.
Enforcement and escalation
If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate the matter to the body responsible for accessibility or equality enforcement in your country. Many countries have a national equality body, human-rights commission, or digital-accessibility authority that handles complaints about inaccessible websites; your national government's website is usually the quickest way to identify the right organisation.
Date and review cycle
The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version of this statement took effect. We review this statement at least once every twelve months, and additionally whenever the site changes significantly or a third-party audit is completed.
