Collect what you can — gaps are normal and many records can be re-obtained from banks and providers. Tick items off as you gather them.

- Transfer confirmations
- Cryptocurrency transaction hashes
- Exchange records
- Emails
- Chat conversations
- Contracts
- Invoices
- Website links
- Company names
- Telephone numbers
- Screenshots
- Police or regulator reference numbers
Handling guidance
- Keep originals unedited. Make copies before annotating anything.
- Store evidence in at least two places (for example, device plus cloud drive).
- Record dates: when each payment happened and when you discovered the problem.
- Never share passwords, seed phrases, or one-time codes with anyone — including services helping you.
